FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 153 (Act 2022-168) as enacted would allow members of the Board of Trustees of the University of West Alabama to attend meetings virtually under certain conditions, which could reduce reimbursement expenses, per diem and travel of the board by an estimated $159 per member for each board meeting attended virtually. In addition, this act allows the public to attend board meetings virtually, which is the current practice of the board.
