FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 346 (Act 2022-348) as enacted removes the deadline for which local units of government that participate in the Employees’ Retirement System (ERS) must adopt a resolution to provide Tier I benefits to Tier II members.

According to the actuary for the Retirement Systems of Alabama, this act will not affect state funding.
