FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 95 (Act 2022-386) as enacted could delay collection of certain court costs from former inmates by 180 days after release from physical custody and requires former inmates to enter into a repayment plan with the jurisdiction or jurisdictions in which he or she has financial obligations within 30 days of release. This act will not otherwise affect state or local funding.
