FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 238 (Act 2022-397) as enacted could increase the administrative obligations of the circuit clerks of the various counties to post notices of garnishment, which would be offset by the assessment of $15 in additional court costs, as provided by this act, which shall be deposited into the Circuit Clerk's Judicial Administrative Fund of the respective county in which a case has been filed.
