FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 9 (Act 2022-103) as enacted requires all federal funds made available to the state through the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006 to be expended only within the coastal political subdivisions of the State (Mobile and Baldwin Counties); however the provisions of this act will not directly affect state or local funding as the provisions of this act codifies current practice.
