FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 265 as amended and reported by the Committee on Judiciary provides for an additional Level III deputy district attorney in the Tenth Judicial Circuit, Bessemer Division, which could increase the financial obligations of the Jefferson County Commission, subject to approval of the Commission, to provide compensation in an amount ranging from $38,000 to $54,500, annually, plus fringe benefits, dependent upon the level and step on the pay scale where the deputy district attorney is appointed.
