FISCAL NOTE
Senate Bill 313 as passed the Senate would prohibit a public official or public employee from advocating in favor of, or against, statewide and local ballot measures by such methods:
(1) Expending public funds;
(2) Presenting or distributing political literature; and
(3) Placement of a political poster on government property.
This bill would also require a public official or public employee to repay any such funds expended contrary to the provisions of this bill.
