FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 359 as passed the House of Representatives could increase the administrative obligations of criminal justice agencies and the Department of Forensic Sciences, by an undetermined amount, to annually report certain data regarding sexual assault cases to the Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center (ACJIC).

In addition, this bill could increase the obligations of ACJIC to annually collect and store this data on sexual assault cases and to provide a summary report on this information to the Chairs of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees.
