FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 224 as passed the Senate would increase the obligations of the Alabama Department of Labor by a department-estimated $613,000 in Fiscal Year 2022, and an estimated $2.27 million annually thereafter, for costs related to additional personnel needed to conduct weekly random reviews of at least 10% of the proof of work searches provided by unemployment compensation claimants, as provided by this bill.
