FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 214 as passed the Senate would codify existing practice of the Alabama State Council on the Arts to: (1) provide grants, programs, and services to support the state’s art community; and (2) award honorariums without regard to current competitive bid law. According to the Council, $13,350 was paid to panelists for honorariums in FY 2021 and the total amount paid annually is not estimated to exceed $30,000.
