FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 346 as passed the House of Representatives removes the deadline for which local units of government that participate in the Employees’ Retirement System (ERS) must adopt a resolution to provide Tier I benefits to Tier II members.

According to the actuary for the Retirement Systems of Alabama, this bill will not affect state funding.
