FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 213 as introduced exempts from competitive bid laws purchases of computer hardware, computer programs, software applications, and automotive parts by state and local governmental entities, which could increase or decrease expenses of these governmental entities by an undetermined amount dependent upon the price these entities would have otherwise obtained from competitive bid and the price paid under the purchase of these goods.
