FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 67 as passed the Senate would remove the provision requiring the Alabama Department of Transportation to first set aside from the proceeds of bonds issued by the Alabama Federal Aid Highway Finance Authority the amount needed to pay the principal of and interest on the obligations issued by the authority, which will allow the Department to pay the principal of and interest on the obligations no later than the date the payment becomes due.
