FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 9 as passed the Senate requires all federal funds made available to the state through the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006 to be expended only within the coastal political subdivisions of the State (Mobile and Baldwin Counties); however this bill will not directly affect state or local funding as this is codifying current practice.
