FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 126 as introduced requires for the Alabama Crime Victims Compensation Commission to meet quarterly rather than monthly which would reduce the obligations of the Alabama Crime Victims Compensation Fund by an estimated $2,625 in fiscal year 2022 and an estimated $5,250 each fiscal year thereafter, based on the average amount expended for Commission member compensation and travel reimbursement over the past four fiscal years.
