FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 75 as introduced would authorize probate courts to preside over proceedings changing the name of certain minors which could increase receipts to the various county treasuries and judge of probates by an undetermined amount dependent upon the number of proceedings conducted to change the name of minors.

In addition, this bill could increase the administrative obligations of certain probate judges designated by written standing order from the presiding circuit court judge, to issue elder abuse protection orders by an undetermined amount dependent upon the number of proceedings presided over by probate judges.
