FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 89 as introduced provides for Department of Corrections K-9 officers that retired on or after January 1, 2022, to be eligible to retire as a state policeman and receive State Police retirement benefits.

Pursuant to Section 36-27-26, Code of Alabama 1975, the fiscal impact of this bill will be provided once the actuarial estimate from the Retirement Systems of Alabama is received.
