FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 49 as introduced would increase the annual obligations of state and local law enforcement agencies, by an undetermined amount, for mental health assessments conducted by board-certified psychiatrists or licensed psychologists, of every law enforcement officer employed or hired by a state or local enforcement agency once every five years beginning on January 1, 2023.
