FISCAL NOTE
House Bill 1 as introduced would increase the obligations of the Department of Labor annually by a minimum of $600,000, as estimated by the department, for personnel, supplies, equipment, utilities, and indirect costs to implement the Alabama Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, which provides reasonable accommodations to employees with conditions related to pregnancy, childbirth, or a related medical condition.
