FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 33 as introduced and as amended and reported by the Committee on Governmental Affairs could increase the administrative obligations of the Department of Examiners of Public Accounts by an undetermined amount to conduct audits or examinations of certain nonprofit water service providers. However, any increase in obligations could be offset, wholly or partly, by reasonable fees charged by the Department as authorized by the provisions of this bill.
