FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 31 as introduced could increase the personnel costs of affected state agencies in the event that a state employee who would have exhausted all available leave is able to remain on payroll as a result of receiving donated annual leave, compensatory leave or sick leave. The amount of the increased obligation is undetermined but would be dependent upon the number of state employees who adopt a child and the amount of leave donated to state employees for this purpose.
