FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 3 as introduced makes a supplemental appropriation from the American Rescue Plan Act – Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund to the Department of Finance in the amount of $80,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2022, to be used to support the delivery of healthcare and related services to the citizens of Alabama related to the coronavirus pandemic through the reimbursement of eligible expenses. This bill also provides that any amount of this appropriation remaining unexpended on September 30, 2022, shall be reappropriated to the Department for the same purpose for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2022.
