FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 626 as amended and reported by the Committee on Ways and Means Education would exempt the Birmingham Holocaust Education Center from paying any state, county, and municipal sales and use taxes on capital expenditures, through December 31, 2023. This bill would reduce sales and use tax receipts to the Education Trust Fund (ETF) and county and municipal funds by the following estimated amounts due to an upcoming project:
