FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 581 as introduced could decrease the medical and housing obligations of the Department of Corrections by an undetermined amount dependent on the number of inmates that would qualify for and be granted medical parole based on the provisions of this bill. This could also increase the supervision obligations of the Board of Pardons and Paroles by an undetermined amount dependent upon the number of additional inmates granted a medical parole.
