FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 346 as passed the House of Representatives would codify previous practices of the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners to charge and collect fees established by the Board by administrative rule. Based on the fees paid in fiscal years 2017 and 2018 to: (1) verify a current license; (2) reactivate an inactive license or reinstate a lapsed license; or (3) apply to act as a continuing education provider, the estimated increase in receipts to the Board is $16,000 annually.

This bill would further increase receipts to the Board by an undetermined amount dependent upon the fee set by the Board to register a supervisor and the number of supervisors registered.
