FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 609 as substituted and reported by the Committee on Boards, Agencies and Commissions would allow the Alabama Innovation Corporation, created by House Bill 540 to (1) make matching grants of up to $250,000 to entities that have received a federal Small Business Innovation Research grant or a federal Small Business Technology Transfer Research grant and (2) set guidelines and priorities for awarding these matching grants.
