FISCAL NOTE
Senate Bill 361 as passed the Senate authorizes the Board of Pardons and Paroles to expend funds appropriated for recruitment materials and training law enforcement officers and support staff, educating the public, and promoting the agency’s mission. In addition, this bill (1) removes the current limitation that a parole or probation officer be assigned no more than 20 active high-risk cases at any time; and (2) disallows the Board to provide incentive awards up to $250 per year for outstanding employee performance.
