FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 106 as passed the House of Representatives could increase the obligations of the Department of Corrections by an undetermined amount by requiring the Department to provide quarterly reports to the Joint Legislative Prison Oversight Committee and publish the report on the Department's website relating to the inmate population and operation of correctional facilities.

In addition, this bill could increase the obligations of the Legislature by an estimated $10,000 to hold quarterly meetings of the Joint Legislative Prison Oversight Committee.
