FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 232 as passed the Senate could decrease the potential obligations of county and municipal jails, by an undetermined amount dependent on the number of individuals who could have been confined in jail for certain traffic violations and who would now not be confined based on the provisions of this bill.
