FISCAL NOTE
Senate Bill 326 as introduced proposes a Constitutional Amendment which if ratified, would require the implementation date of any legislation enacted in a calendar year in which a general election is to be held that affects the conduct of the general election, to be implemented at least six months before the election is held.
This bill will increase the proclamation expenses of the Governor, paid from the State General Fund, by an estimated $100,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023.
