FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 15 as passed the Senate exempts from competitive bid laws certain leases and lease/purchases of goods and services by city and county boards of education or other state and local governmental entities made through national or regional cooperative purchasing agreements, which could increase or decrease expenses of these governmental entities by an undetermined amount dependent upon the price these entities would have otherwise obtained from competitive bid and the price paid under the lease or lease/purchase of goods.
