FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 423 as introduced (1) removes the current exclusion of the use of multiple award contracts for the purchase of push to talk services and (2) removes the current exclusion of wireless communication services, whether voice or data, from exemption from competitive bid requirements. This bill could increase or decrease the obligations of state agencies by an undetermined amount dependent upon the pricing vendors would otherwise have submitted where contracts are purchased through a competitive bid process.
