FISCAL NOTE
Senate Bill 11 as passed the Senate (1) exempts airport authorities from sales and use tax beginning January 1, 2021; (2) provides that this exemption may extend to contractors working on behalf on these authorities for certain projects; and (3) exempts airport authorities from the requirement to obtain an annual certificate of exemption from the Department of Revenue.
This bill will decrease sales and use tax receipts to the following funds by the following estimated amounts, based on information provided by these authorities:
