FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 114 as passed the Senate would exempt volunteer rescue squads from the payment of license and registration fees and ad valorem taxes on utility trailers beginning January 1, 2022. This bill would reduce receipts to the Public School Fund, the State General Fund, the Alabama Veterans’ Assistance Fund, the Public Road and Bridge Fund and county and municipal funds, cumulatively, by an estimated $1,400 annually, based on information provided by the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads.
