House Bill 202 as introduced could increase the obligations of district attorneys by an undetermined amount to provide a court reporter or stenographer to record grand jury proceedings and preserve grand jury transcripts until all appeals are exhausted, or the investigation is closed by the courts, or the proceedings fail to result in an indictment.
