FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 190 as introduced appropriates from the Education Trust (ETF) for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2021, $13,472,300 as follows:

*A total of $3,500,000 to the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) of which: (1) $1,000,000 shall be expended for demolition and an environmental study of ANG Decatur Property; and (2) $2,500,000 shall be expended for the Independent Living Center at AIDB Talladega;

*A total of $5,500,000 to the Educational Television Commission for nonrecurring expenditures, including but not limited to transmitters and fiber optic network;

*A total of $2,000,000 to the Marine Environmental Sciences Consortium to assist with recovery efforts from damage caused by Hurricane Sally;

*A total of $1,000,000 to Tuskegee University for Armstrong Hall Laboratory improvements;

*A total of $880,000 to Athens State University, Board of Trustees for one-time costs of HyFlex classrooms; and

*A total of $592,300 to the University of West Alabama, Board of Trustees for campus wide security systems.
