FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 335 as introduced provides for one additional circuit judgeship in the 11th, 13th, 17th, 23rd, 28th, and 37th Judicial Circuits. According to the Administrative Office of Courts, this would increase the obligations of the State General Fund by an estimated $2.65 million for fiscal year 2022 and each fiscal year thereafter to fill 6 additional circuit judgeships and 18 support positions.
