FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 131 as passed the House of Representatives proposes a Constitutional Amendment which, if ratified, would continue to entitle every person charged with a crime pretrial bail unless the individual is charged with an offense enumerated by the Legislature.

This bill will increase the proclamation expenses of the Governor, paid from the State General Fund, by an estimated $100,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023.
