FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 211 as passed the Senate provides that all-terrain and off-highway vehicle registration fees currently required to be deposited into an off-road vehicle account in the State Treasury for certain uses would now be deposited into the Public Safety Fund of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA). According to ALEA, approximately $250 in registration fees have been deposited for Fiscal Year 2021 year-to-date.
