FISCAL NOTE
House Bill 368 as introduced creates a violation for transporting a dog or cat on a flatbed truck without securing them in a cage and provides for a fine up to $50 for the first offense and a fine up to $200 for subsequent offenses. This could increase receipts to the State General Fund, by an undetermined amount, dependent upon the number of violations issued and fines collected.
