FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 179 as passed the Senate could increase the administrative obligations of the Alabama Board of Nursing by an undetermined amount to adopt rules establishing standards for student nurse apprenticeships and certified medication assistants and issue permits to eligible students and applicants. Any increase in obligation would be offset, wholly or in part, by the collection of fees, set by the Board, for student nurse apprenticeship permits and certified medication assistants.
