FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 198 as passed the Senate would increase receipts to the Alabama Department of Revenue by an estimated $77,000 annually for processing electronic title payments for motor vehicles or manufactured homes and collecting and retaining the commission fee of $1.50, based on Fiscal Year 2020 data. The bill provides that any commission fees collected would be continuously appropriated to the department.
