FISCAL NOTE
House Bill 23 as passed the House of Representatives provides for judicial discretion in determining the length of a revocation sentence when sentencing defendants for probation revocation under certain conditions. This could decrease the obligations of the Department of Corrections, by an undetermined amount, depending on the number of defendants that violate probation and receive a reduced revocation sentence.
