FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 234 as introduced would increase the obligations of the Alabama Community College System (ACCS) to establish comprehensive personnel policies before August 1, 2021, for faculty and staff hired on or after August 1, 2021, in lieu of the Students First Act of 2011. The extent to which the obligations of ACCS would be increased would be dependent upon the differences in the Students First Act of 2011 and the new policies adopted by ACCS.
