FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 179 as introduced and as amended and reported by the Committee on Healthcare could increase the administrative obligations of the Alabama Board of Nursing by an undetermined amount to adopt rules establishing standards for student nurse apprenticeships and certified medication assistants, and the issuance of permits by the Board to eligible students and applicants. Any increase in obligation would be offset, wholly or partly, by the issuance of student nurse apprenticeship permits and certified medication assistants, permits and the amounts set by the Board.
