FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 398 as introduced removes the requirement for the State Licensing Board of General Contractors, Onsite Wastewater Board, Board of Respiratory Therapy, and Board of Electrical Contractors to transfer certain funds remaining at year-end from the respective boards to the State General Fund.

For the previous five fiscal years, these boards have transferred approximately $768,000 cumulatively to the State General Fund due to the provisions repealed by this bill.
