FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 78 as passed the Senate creates the 22-member Alabama Council on Advanced Technology and Artificial Intelligence to review and advise the Governor and Legislature on the development of technology and artificial intelligence. This would increase the obligations of (1) the State General Fund by an estimated $960 per meeting to reimburse the legislative members for their per diem and travel expenses; and (2) funds of the council by an estimated $2,200 per meeting to reimburse other members for expenses in the performance of their duties.
