FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 210 as introduced could increase receipts to the State General Fund by an undetermined amount, dependent upon the funds remaining from criminal asset forfeiture sales, resulting from a criminal conviction for a drug related offense, after disbursements for: (1) victim restitution; (2) payments for outstanding liens, mortgages, or filed security interests in the forfeited property; (3) payments for reasonable costs associated with the sale and maintenance of the forfeited property; (4) reimbursements to the seizing law enforcement agency for non-personnel operating costs; and (5) reimbursements to the prosecuting authority for non-personnel operating costs.
