FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 124 as passed the Senate could increase the obligations of the Board of Medical Examiners, to issue temporary certificates of the qualifications for physicians, and Medical Licensure Commission, to issue temporary licenses to physicians by an undetermined amount dependent on the number of physician and physician assistant applicants seeking licensure under the provisions of this act. Assuming that the Board and Commission will collect a fee to issue the temporary certificates and licenses, the increased obligations of the Board and Commission's could be offset, wholly or in part, by an undetermined amount dependent upon the amount of the temporary certificates and temporary licenses fees collected by the Board and Commission.

This bill also provides that certain fees assessed by the Board are non-rrefundable.
