FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 16 as passed the Senate would require the Alabama Department of Education (SDE) to establish and award an alternative teaching certificate to certain retired members of the United States Armed Forces. This would increase administrative costs of the Department by a small undetermined amount which could be offset, in part or in whole, by application fee receipts collected for the issuance of certificates.
